Media focus on CBP in Hamburg
- But isn’t it hard to get the partners to contribute to the project, when you are all competitors? was the question asked one of the seven journalists who attended the CBP press briefing at Seatrade in Hamburg in November. Project director, Signe Adamsen, was delighted to answer as it gave her the perfect opportunity to recount her experiences with the project partners. She explained that they all share best practise experiences as the objectives of CBP are common, furthermore the success of one destination has a knock-on effect on other destinations. Concluding with a quote from the chairman of Baltic Development Forum, the former foreign minister Uffe Ellemand-Jensen, she said: "We have enough in common to be able to co-operate, but are different enough to be able to learn from one another".
The strategic concept of CBP generated a great deal of interest among journalists, particularly from the German media, among them representatives from the national newswire DPA.
