Cruise Baltic Project joins Seatrade Med
For the first time Cruise Baltic Project will participate in Seatrade Med in Naples. The cruise ship network is taking part in order to make the operators in the Mediterranean region aware of the possibilities in the Baltic Sea Region.
When southern Italy opens its doors for this year’s Cruise & Ferry event for the Mediterranean it won’t just feature participants from the Caribbean and Mediterranean. For the first time ever, this year Cruise Baltic Project has chosen to visit Naples together with around 250 leading cruise ship companies and tour operators. Cruise Baltic Project has previously participated in Seatrade Miami and other cruise ship conferences and exhibitions, but has never visited Seatrade Med before.
- Of course at Seatrade Med the focus is on the Mediterranean area, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t interest in other regions. On the contrary. It is important that we market ourselves in places where people don’t necessarily expect to see us. We need to approach this in an untraditional way if we are to ensure a larger market share of the cruise ship industry, and tour operators and cruise ship companies do not expect to see Cruise Baltic Project represented at Seatrade Med. This will generate a whole new interest around us compared to the other participants, says project director Signe Adamsen, Cruise Baltic Project. She continues:
- Cruise Baltic Project is still very much in the news. We are still newcomers to the cruise industry and have a project which is totally unique, based on a destination-to-destination, harbour-to-harbour structure that one does not see anywhere else in the world.
You can meet project director Signe Adamsen and representatives from all the Cruise Baltic Project’s destinations at stand 531 at the cruise conference in Naples. You will be able to pick up the new product guide to the ten countries, 19 harbours and destinations that make up the Cruise Baltic Project.
