Cruise Baltic welcomes its first all-gay cruises
For the first time this summer the Baltic Region will welcome all-gay cruises.
On July 14 the number one rated Large Ship, according to readers of Condé Nast Traveller in 2007, will set out from Copenhagen on a seven-day-cruise around the Baltic Sea with 2,000 gay passengers. Celebrity Cruises' Constellation sails from Copenhagen to Stockholm, visiting Tallinn, Helsinki, St. Petersburg and Berlin on its way. The American travel agency Atlantic Events specialises in holidays for the gay community. Atlantic Events' cruise, starting from Copenhagen, will be its first all-gay cruise in the Baltic. The Copenhagen-to-Stockholm Cruise sold out within three weeks, but Atlantis Events is already planning on making it an annual event, with another cruise already scheduled for 12-19 July 2008.
The very first all-gay cruise will start its journey in the Baltic Sea on July 2. 226 passengers will take part in a 10-night, luxury cruise in the Baltic Sea July 2-11. The cruise will start in Bergen, sail to Stockholm via Copenhagen and continue from there to Gdynia, Tallinn, St. Petersburg and Helsinki. The cruise, onboard the French Ponant Cruises' Le Diamant, is arranged by Travelpride.
