Korsoer - Attractions

1. Great Belt Bridge
1998 the Great Belt Bridge opened, replacing the ferries that have transported passengers over the Great Belt for hundreds of years. This tour starts with a visit to Revspidsen, Halsskov Point, the coastal point from which the impressive bridge can be viewed, and the guide will describe the building process. 

2. Manor Houses
Go to Borreby, Gavnoe and Holsteinborg Castle, which the fairytale author Hans Christian Andersen often visited and end the day in the medieval fortress in Korsoer.

3. Slagelse
In Slagelse - the main city in Slagelse Municipality, with 76,000 inhabitants - there are a couple of larger shopping malls and several to small speciality shops, cozy squares and narrow streets. Here you will also find the Royal Danish Guard Hussar Regiment, which is frequently riding through Slagelse.

4. Vikings
The tour goes to the Viking settlement Trelleborg, an encampment from around the year 980. Continue to Roskilde where the Viking Ship Museum can be visited.

5. Funen
From Korsoer, this tour proceeds over the Great Belt Bridge, and continues directly to Odense, where it visits the home of fairytale author Hans Christian Andersen. You might also visit the world's best preserved renaissance castle built over water, Egeskov.
