Service charges are always included in prices, but please feel free to round up when taking a taxi or at a restaurant etc. To show your appreciation for good service, leave a small tip (approximately 10%). With some exemptions, consumer goods are taxed at 25% sales tax (VAT).

Transportation to/from the airport
|
Airport buses operate a shuttle service between the airport and downtown Umeå. The 35-minute journey costs SEK 35. By taxi, the journey takes about 7 minutes and costs approximately SEK 150.
