Ships Visiting Northern Europe for the first time in 2010 and beyond

In her inaugural season, chic French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant has announced the 264-passengerLe Boréal, will sail to the Baltic in July next year - calling at Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg,Tallinn and Copenhagen.

With her innovative design, slender shape and original interiors, sleek, super-yacht Le Boréal offers an unrivalled level of comfort and elegance. From May she joins sister vessels in the fleet, the three-masted Le Ponant, yacht Le Levant and expedition ship Le Diamant - a past visitor to the Baltic region.

Says Bo Larsen, Cruise Baltic Director: "With the addition of Disney Magic operating in the Baltic for the first time, we are thrilled to welcome these new ships to this part of the world in 2010. The appeal of the region is so diverse and has much to offer to the international marketplace.

And looking even further ahead to the Summer of 2011, luxury operator SeaDream Yacht Club has also announced for the fist time it will position 112-guest SeaDream I in Scandinavia and the Baltic, including cruising in the spectacular Norwegian fjords.
