Vibrant, Historic and Inviting

An energetic pulse surges through the city of Aarhus. With a student population of more than 50,000, Aarhus is young at heart, yet the city has plenty of history that is very much alive. The old town quarters in the city centre, close to the harbour, are some of the most atmospheric, bustling and trend-setting in Aarhus. Enjoy shopping, relaxing at one of the city’s many cafés, or stroll in the deep woods, reaching all the way down to sandy beaches. Take your pick among the generous selection of restaurants Aarhus has to offer, sample the varied art and cultural attractions.
