Midnight Sun, Snow & Ice 365

Kemi, the home port of Santa Claus, is located close to the Arctic Circle and the Swedish border. During summer the sun does not set at all, and the famous Nordic midnight sun can be enjoyed. The town and area is a great adventure set in a peaceful environment, with unique, tiny shops, grand nature and cultural activities. The location of Kemi in Sea Lapland offers artic experiences all-yea-round e.g. unique archipelago, long rivers rich with fish and midnight sun. The sea is frozen for half of the year enabling unique winter adventures from Icebreaker Cruises to snowmobile safaris and winter fishing. City is know for the SnowCastle built annually in town and in 2019 this snow experience is open every day! Have dinner in the SnowRestaurant by the ice tables or drinks in the ice bar admiring beautiful snow and ice sculptures in every season.
