Midnight Sun, Nordic Beauty

Kemi, the home port of Santa Claus, is located close to the Arctic Circle and the Swedish border. During summer the sun does not set at all, and the famous Nordic midnight sun can be enjoyed. The town and area is a great adventure set in a peaceful environment, with unique, tiny shops, grand nature and cultural activities. The location of Kemi in Sea Lapland offers artic experiences, e.g. the SnowCastle of Kemi and Icebreaker Sampo. The Frozen Sea, with the snow sparkling in the late winter sunshine, offers a fantastic possiblity for cross-country skiing, ice fishing and kick-sleighing.
