Lilla Torg

The Museum of Modern Art

One of Europe´s leading museums of contemporary art. Moderna Museet Malmö is a high-quality museum with an independent exhibition program. Here you can see art from the most important contemporary artists form the 20th century onwards.The museum is a converted Power station, one of Sweden’s most beautiful. Slottsträdgården /Slottsparken

Located just behind Malmöhus Castle you find Slottsträdgården, which is a beautiful little garden, and Slotssparken where you can enjoy a walk or a picnic in the leafy surroundings. The city canal also runs through the park so if you want to be real active, rent a paddle boat or a kayak and go through the park.

Möllevången

Möllevången (or Möllan, as the locals say) is the city’s popular multicultural area. Here you’ll find the square called Möllevångstorget that has a lively and very popular fruit and vegetable market and around Möllan there is plenty of restaurants, bars and various types of international shops

Funnys adventure

Malmö is the proud home to a new family attraction called Funny’s äventyr (Funny’s Adventure). The idea is to immerse the little ones – the recommended ages are between 3 and 12 – and their parents in a world populated by the characters from their favourite fairy tales and children’s books. The indoor theme park is include interactive exhibitions, theatre shows in multiple languages and a ‘fairytale merry-go-round' which lets visitors get close to fairy tale sets complete with lighting and voices - onboard a bumblebee! Funny’s äventyr will feature interactive exhibition areas dedicated to popular children’s fiction characters such as Pettson and Findus, Alfie Atkins, Halvdan the Viking and the Moomins.
